BREED NOTES FOR CIRNECO DELL'ETNA

Recent news from Finland from Annikki Peltola that on Sunday 18th July, Anharbn Yellow River AKA Jokinen won BEST IN SHOW in their specialty show judged by Barbka Novak. 36 Cirnechi and more than 70 Italian Greyhounds were entered. What a fantastic result for Annikki & Jokinen and for the breed. Barbka Novak is a long time breeder of Cirnechi and Border Collies under the kennel name Seta del Oro and resides in Slovania.

It is not only an honour to be awarded BIS but under a breed specialist too. Congratulations Annikki.

We have had confirmation that the new male imports have passed all relevant tests and will be heading for the UK within the next few months.

Susan and Lee Cronshaw are revving up ready to get Anharbn In The Pink AKA Sonny into the show world in September. Lee has previously shown a westhighland white terrier before Sonny so I hope he gets a nice warm welcome into the hound group. His brothers A. Pink Floyd will be ably shown by Barbara Brooker of Barab Pharaoh Hounds or Pam Crudgington who is the owner/slave and A. Pink Panther AKA Clueso will also be joining them handled by Jen Bayliss.

Leeds is the next show so good luck to everyone who has entered and in supporting the breed in UK.
